that's not what a relationship is, or at least not what it should be. being in a relationship is about love and trust and enjoying spending time together, not about the need to hang onto another person. a boy/girlfriend shouldn't be someone who "defines" you, they should be like a super best friend who you like to make out with sometimes. your definition of a relationship is a bit gross i suppose, but i don't think it is a good one and i'm sorry that you can't see relationships as anything else.
